1 Reciprocal IVF cycle, as part of Apricity's 'Egg Sharing' Programme.

If 10 or more eggs are collected, an equal share of the eggs will be divided between you and Apricity’s egg bank. In the case of an odd number of eggs, you will retain the additional egg.

Cost - £350 (£600.00 upfront, with a £250 refund subject to returning for post quarantine screening tests 3 months after egg collection)

TREATMENT:

Routine screening blood tests for the biological mother and the gestational mother, Sedation for the biological mother, Egg collection for the biological mother, Embryology, Embryo transfer for the birth mother, Blastocyst culture (as applicable), Freezing of embryos including 1 year of storage, HFEA fee

MONITORING:

Follicle tracking ultrasound scans for the biological mother, Hormone monitoring blood tests for both mothers, Endometrial thickness ultrasound scans for the birth mother, Pregnancy blood test for the birth mother, Early pregnancy ultrasound scan (as applicable) for the birth mother

CONSULTATIONS:

Treatment planning consultation, Nurse consultation, Supportive counselling, Follow up consultation (as applicable)

MEDICATIONS:

Down-regulation medication for the biological mother (if required), Stimulation medication for the biological mother (if required), Medication until pregnancy test for the birth mother (Luteal support).

Blood tests at home with self kit or at an Apricity partner clinic, Ultrasound at partner clinic, Virtual consultations, Drug delivery at work, home, other location of your choice

Differently from all other fertility clinics, we have included the fees associated with the below medications in our treatment packages;

Down regulation and Ovarian Stimulation-

- Buserelin, Suprecur

- Decapeptyl, Prostap, Synarel/Nafarelin (Nasal Spray)

- Fyremadel and Cetrotide injections

- Norethisterone, Contraceptive pill

- Oestrogen pill and Oestrogen patches

- GonalF, Bemfola, Menopur, Meriofert

- Gonasi, Ovitrelle

Luteal support-

- Progesterone pessaries and tablets (Cyclogest and Utrogestan)

- Oestrogen tablets or patches

Your Apricity Clinician will always select the best treatment protocol for you to maximise your chances. Your treatment protocol will determine which medication you are advised to take. You will not necessarily be required to take all of the medication that is included in your treatment package and you may be advised to take medication that is not included in your treatment package.

ICSI:

If ICSI is required, there is a charge of £650 for this treatment (less than half the usual cost)

FROZEN TRANSFER:

If the cycle results in embryo freezing only and no fresh transfer occurs, there would be an additional cost of ~£1,400 to cover the embryo thaw cost. Any additional FET’s are not included.

DONOR SPERM:

The package does not include donor sperm, but if you need it, our trusted partner, UK-based sperm bank Semovo, can help. We do accept donor sperm from a selection of other reputable sperm banks - please contact our team if you wish to use another sperm bank.

ADDITIONAL TESTING:

Time-lapse imaging, Embryo biopsy (PGS), Endometrial scratching, Non-routine blood-tests, Any add-on therapies. We also do not include non-routine tests such as Natural Killer Cells or DNA fragmentation, although if required we would be happy to arrange them for you at additional cost.

NON ROUTINE MEDICATIONS:

Please note that any medication you require after a positive pregnancy test is subject to additional charges.

In some cases, your consultant may prescribe additional medications on an individual basis to address specific concerns, for example, preventing blood clotting. Some of these may not be included in your treatment package and would therefore be subject to additional charges. Some of these may include, and would therefore be charged additionally to your treatment package;

- Pergoveris

- Clexane and Aspirin

- Trental

- Steroids (eg prednisolone)

- Thyroxine

- Progesterone Injections (eg lubion or IM injections)

If you are deemed not suitable to continue on the Egg Sharing treatment package following initial screening tests, you can opt to continue a standard Reciprocal IVF cycle at the standard price, or withdraw from the programme completely.

If 10 or more eggs are collected, an equal share of the eggs will be divided between you and Apricity’s egg bank. In the case of an odd number of eggs, you will retain the additional egg.

If 8/9 eggs are collected, you have the choice to opt to:

-Donate 4 eggs and retain the remaining eggs and consider further rounds of Egg Sharing.

-Retain all the eggs, but will be liable to pay the remaining charges of a full Reciprocal IVF cycle treatment at the standard price. 

If 7 or fewer eggs are collected, none are given to Apricity Egg Bank, and you can retain these eggs at no additional cost, and consider further rounds of egg freezing. 

After your eggs have been divided between you and Apricity egg bank, if no embryo’s are created as a result of your own share of eggs, you can opt to purchase your remaining eggs from Apricity’s egg bank and attempt another cycle at the standard price within 3 months (After 3 months, we cannot guarantee that these eggs will be available). Otherwise you can opt for another round of ‘Egg Sharing’.

If you withdraw from the donation programme after egg collection, you are obligated to pay the remaining balance for a standard Reciprocal IVF cycle.
